Theresa Cheung, a well-known American writer, she has published a book entitled “The Lemon Juice Diet” in which she explains how it is possible to detoxify in 24 hours with lemon.

According to the book written by Cheung, during the 24 hours it will be necessary to take four glasses of lemonade (obviously homemade) and with the addition of maple syrup and cayenne pepper excellent for expelling toxins. Everything will be prepared in filtered water.

After 24 hours, you will then need to follow a meal plan for a week. The first day after detoxification involves the consumption of lemon juice before breakfast, then during the day the juice in question will be consumed for another 6 or 8 times to improve the digestion of the food.

During the second day, however, in addition to the juice, you will have to consume five portions of vegetables or fruit. Then the food plan will follow other indications such as spraying lemon juice on food.
